After completion of my medical school (MBBS) and Orthopaedic Postgraduate training in India with Gold medal, I have arrived in the UK to further consolidate my surgical training in 2002.  Since then, I have worked in Orthopaedic department as senior registrar with extensive experience across various Hospitals in NHS. My specialist higher surgical training was based at Southampton University Hospitals and Western Sussex Hospitals NHS trust. 

Following this, I have completed my Hip & Knee arthroplasty fellowship under Prof Dunlop and Mr Datta at Southampton university Hospitals before taking up consultant post at the same Hospital from 2017 for 2 years and then moved to Manchester in 2019.  Since then, I am working at Salford Royal Hospital, which is recognised Major Trauma Centre for Greater Manchester, practicing in all aspects of adult lower limb Orthopaedics and complex trauma.

My areas of interest are Hip and Knee replacement surgery, Complex Trauma, Pelvic and Acetabular surgery. My practice is based on patient centred approach. I have excellent outcomes (better than national average) recorded following Hip & Knee replacements. This is evident in my National joint registry (NJR) reports and patient reported outcomes (PROMS) which are available online.

I regularly carry out complex Hip replacement for Previous pelvic & Acetabular fractures in Greater Manchester. I provide specialist advise and treatment for Pelvic and Sacro-iliac joint related problems and receive referrals from regional Hospitals.
