Mr. Vijaya Kempanna, is a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon with special interest in Hip and Knee replacement surgery, Complex Trauma, Pelvic and Acetabular surgery. His practice is based on patient centred approach. He has excellent patient outcomes (better than national average) recorded following Hip & Knee replacements. This is evident from his National joint registry (NJR) reports and patient reported outcomes (PROMS) which are available online.
Mr Kempanna is based at Salford Royal Hospital in Manchester and have also started to practice at Spire Manchester Hospital.
He has been Consultant Orthopaedics for the last over 5 years.
Mr Kempanna successfully completed his Hip & Knee arthroplasty fellowship under Prof. Dunlop at a very busy Southampton University Hospitals before taking up Consultant post at the same Hospital from 2017 for 2 years. He then progressed and moved to Salford Royal Hospital, Manchester where he is busy managing patients since 2019.
